<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To downsize the casing of an ATM to simplify an operation by a user on the ATM. <P>SOLUTION: A communication unit 18, a communication controller 32 and an input and output processor 31a for communicating transaction data to a mobile phone 6 carried by a user, and an external interface unit 30 and a host communication processor 31b for transmitting and receiving the transaction data to and from a host computer 1 are provided in a paper money teller machine contained in a conventional ATM, to perform input and output processes of the ATM 10 by the mobile phone 6. This allows the ATM 10 to be downsized, thereby enabling the space to be saved. Further, the transaction data is preliminarily input in the mobile phone 6 of the user.
