<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an address book management device, an address book management method, and an address book management program which enable the facsimile number, or the like, of the transmission source of a received electronic mail to be readily registered in the address book of a facsimile machine. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A computer 200 has electronic mail software 10 and an address book management application 20. The address book management application 20 extracts the facsimile number and address name of a mail transmission source from the description of the electronic mail received by the electronic mail software 10.
