<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packet processing apparatus which effectively uses a plurality of cores (packet transfer processing means) for decentralizing and performing packet processing. <P>SOLUTION: When the packet processing means (for example, cores 23<SB>1</SB>, 23<SB>2</SB>, ..., 23<SB>n</SB>) finishes processing of a packet having arrived later before finishing processing of a packet having arrived early, it is confirmed whether there is a core processing a packet having the same hash number based upon a processing number, a processing flag, and a hash value stored in a storage means (for example, a common table 30) after the processing of the packet having arrived later is completed. When there is no such a core, packets having been processed are transferred to an output side (for example, an output processing unit 24), but when there is such a packet, the transfer of the packets having been processed is made to wait until the processing is completed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
