PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transfer device capable of reducing an effect of noise or the like more. SOLUTION: A transmission unit of the data transfer device transmits test data by being synchronized with a reference signal. A delay unit adjusts a delay amount of a data signal transmitted from the transmission unit based on the reference signal. A decision unit acquires the test data for a plurality of times with the same condition of the delay amount to determine reliability of a signal value when the test data is fetched with a predetermined delay amount. A control unit determines a delay amount (adjustment value) to be applied to regular data communication based on results by fetching the test data while varying the delay amount. In addition, the control unit calculates a first section in which a high level continues for the longest time and a second section in which a low level continues for the longest time, respectively by using a signal value determined to have the high reliability among the fetched signal values.
