INTERFERENCE LIGHT MODULATOR AND DISPLAY EMPLOYING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display which gives a color image without using a color filter.

SOLUTION: The display includes a metal thin film and a dielectric multiple thin film spaced apart from the metal thin film by a predetermined interval. Each pixel of the display includes a plurality of sub-pixels. The display may achieve colors by changing an interval between the metal thin film and the dielectric multiple thin film at respective sub-pixel, and may achieve a black mode by applying a voltage to respective sub-pixels.
