<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber exhibiting a good antistatic property and high water repellency, and to provide a bulky nonwoven fabric exhibiting high water repellency, and having a good feeling. <P>SOLUTION: The highly water-repellent fiber is a conjugated fiber having a plurality of thermoplastic resins as a main constituent in which 0.1-1.0 mass%, based on the fiber mass, of a fiber treating agent containing at least following components (A) and (B) is applied thereto. The amount of the component (A) accounts for 75-97 mass%, and the amount of the component (B) accounts for 25-3 mass% in the fiber treating agent.
