<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoconductive composition having excellent preservation stability, and to provide a thermoconductive member having a high thermal conductivity. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The thermoconductive composition contains (A) glass powder, (B) boron nitride powder and (C) a resin component, wherein the proportion V<SB>1</SB>(wt.%) of the glass powder (A) and the proportion V<SB>2</SB>(wt.%) of the boron nitride powder (B) in the solid component of the thermoconductive composition satisfy the following expressions (1): 5≤V<SB>1</SB>≤65; (2): 15≤V<SB>2</SB>≤75; and (3): 50≤V<SB>1</SB>+V<SB>2</SB>≤80, and the specific gravity of the glass powder (A) measured by an air comparison pycnometer is within the range of 2.0-3.0 g/cm<SP>3</SP>.
