<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lure having an appearance assuming an interference color such as a rainbow-colored pattern or an iridescent color, and excellent durability. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The DLC (diamond-like carbon)-coated fishing lure 10 is provided with a DLC film 20 having a film thickness D2 within the range of 0.05-0.55 μm. Thereby, the lure assumes the appearance of the interference color such as the rainbow-colored pattern or iridescent color. As a result, the DLC-coated fishing lure is used suitably as the lure. Since the DLC film 20 has high hardness and excellent abrasion resistance, and a lure substrate 12 is coated therewith through an intermediate layer 18 of TiN, high adhesive strength is obtained, and the DLC-coated fishing lure is resistant to peeling and abrasion to afford the excellent durability.
