<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a marking pen with such flexible writing feeling as that of a fountain pen, and capable of obtaining soft writing feeling. <P>SOLUTION: This marking pen has an ink tank 1 and a cap 2, a coil-like object 6 such as a spring is attached to the periphery of a pen core 5, and a guide member 8 for protecting the spring is attached to the periphery of the coil-like object 6.
