PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-performance pneumatic tire for a two-wheeler capable of achieving the adequate ground contact shape and the adequate distribution of the ground contact pressure during the high-speed run, and demonstrating the excellent steering stability performance. SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire for the two-wheeler includes a pair of right and left beads, a carcass 2 formed of at least one-layered ply extending toroidally between the beads, and a belt 3 formed of at least one layer and arranged on a crown part of the carcass 2. In a cord constituting the carcass 2, the initial modulus of elasticity defined by the inclination of the tangential line at 29.4 N time in the stress-strain curve at 25°C is 0.50-1.40 N/dtex, and the high-temperature modulus of elasticity to be defined by the inclination of the tangential line at 29.4 N time in the stress-strain curve at 180°C is≥50% of the initial modulus of elasticity.
