PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition capable of improving the grip function on an ice ground (function on an ice ground) and giving breaking strength, with the retention of storage modulus (G') at a high temperature, by using the composition at least on a part contacted to a ground of a tire tread. SOLUTION: The rubber composition comprises 100 pts.mass of a rubber ingredient (A) of at least one of natural rubber and synthetic diene rubbers having a weight average molecular weight of 150,000 or more in terms of polystyrene, as measured by gel permeation chromatography, and 1 to 60 pts.mass of a low molecular weight conjugated diene polymer (B) having an amount of a bound aromatic vinyl compound of less than 5 mass% and having a weight average molecular weight of 50,000 to 150,000 in terms of polystyrene, as measured by gel permeation chromatography, without stopping modification, wherein bubbles are contained in the rubber matrix of the rubber composition.
