Flow heater and method for producing same

The heater (111) has a flow channel (117) for a heated medium around heating elements (120a-120f), which comprises a large boundary surface with the flow channel. The flow channel is opened at the origin and at an end and is closed between the origin and the end. The flow channel comprises a cross-section surface with reduced length, and a constant circumference. Height of the flow channel along the length of the channel is reduced from a maximum channel height to a minimum channel height. The heating element is provided only in sections with constant cross-sectional surface and/or height. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a flow heater.
