METHOD AND DRIVING ASSEMBLY FOR OPERATING A WEAVING MACHINE

A textile weaving assembly has a main motor driving a main draft shaft via a first clutch. The motor further drives flywheel via a second clutch. Prior to the start-up process the first clutch is de-coupled and the flywheel action is initiated. Subsequently, the second clutch is disengaged and the motor brought to a stop. The motor is then engaged with the first clutch and the weaving loom brought to normal operational speed. After the normal operating speed has been attained, the flywheel is engaged to other drive units.
