PURPOSE: An apparatus for manufacturing puffed rice is provided to prevent an expansive spring from being bent or broken even when an upper mold is strongly pressed and to improve durability of a product by preventing the separation of a rotating chain. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for manufacturing puffed rice comprises: a main body(1) including a work table(12), a plurality of main body frames(11), and a support plate(14); a controller(2) which is installed on the outer side of the main body frames and includes a heater switch(21), a motor switch(22), and a heater controller(23); a driving unit which includes a drive motor and a sprocket wheel connected to a drive shaft of the drive motor; raising and lowering unit(4) unit including an operation lever(41), a raising and lowering module(43), a support frame(44), a projection(45a), and an expansive spring(46); a support bracket which is installed on the lower end of the main body frame; and a grain supply unit(8) including a hopper, a supply pipe, and a grain control unit.
