The spreader has a centrifugal disk (5) supplying material found in a storage container (2) using a dosing device (3). The disk distributes the material from throw shovels (4) to ground surface, where sound is occurred via material distribution. An electronic monitoring device i.e. on-board computer (8) comprises a micro-phone (6) and is utilized for monitoring material stream. The microphone is utilized for determining loudness of the noise caused by the fertilizer distribution, and/or occurring noise level in a contact-less measuring manner.
