METHOD AND TERMINAL FOR FILTERING SPAM MESSAGES

PURPOSE: A method for filtering a spam message for storing additional development cost in a spam filtering process is provided to efficiently use limited memory resources of the terminal. CONSTITUTION: A user inputs a spam character string through the fixed the wild card of the terminal. An inputted spam string is registered in the terminal(602). The wild card is included in the spam character string. The terminal receives a message the message of originator(604). The terminal compares the character string and registered spam character string within the incoming message(606). If the incoming message is the spam message, the terminal stores the incoming message in the spam message box(608).
