PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of fine dust and heighten the effective utilization coefficient of carbon content, by adding an organic solution such as n-hexane to a slurry solution of carbon-containing fine particles such as blast-furnace or converter dust, and bringing them into contact to scavenge the carbon content suspended at the interface between the surface of the water and the organic solvent.
