<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition comprising a polybutylene terephthalate resin as a main component, which exhibits high mold release characteristics and excellent mold contamination resistance following reduction in generated-gas component during molding. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The polybutylene terephthalate-based resin composition comprises (A) 100 pts.wt. of a polybutylene terephthalate resin and (B) 0.05-5.0 pts.wt. of a polyglycerol fatty acid ester obtained by ester bonding a fatty acid to all the hydroxy groups of a polyglycerol.
