A turbine housing of an exhaust turbocharger has an integral bypass duct, which is connected to the duct carrying the exhaust gas by an opening, which is controlled by a bypass valve (wastegate). The valve disc of the bypass valve interacts with a valve seat, which is inserted with a radial clearance into a recess circularly surrounding the opening. The valve seat ring is axially fixed in that the edge of the circular recess is bent over radially inwards at certain points distributed over the circumference.
