PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain miniaturization of a wiper device including a rocking space of a link mechanism, and to secure a larger crushable zone. SOLUTION: A wiper motor 13 in which an output shaft 55 is arranged close to a DR side pivot shaft 15 between the DR side pivot shaft 15 and an AS side pivot shaft 16 is provided, and a motor crank 65 is provided such that rocking motion is performed between the DR side pivot shaft 15 and the AS side pivot shaft 16. The motor crank 65 is not rocked at a position out of a space between the DR side pivot shaft 15 and the AS side pivot shaft 16, miniaturization of the wiper device 12 including the rocking space of the motor crank 65 can be attained, and the larger crushable zone can be secured.
