PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique, which suppresses the meandering of a conveyor belt with that cost held down and, at the same time, effectively collects ink cleaned off from the conveyor belt. SOLUTION: A recording device includes: the conveyor belt for conveying a recording medium by adsorbing the recording medium onto a conveying surface by electrostatic force; a recording head for discharging recording material to the recording medium conveyed by the conveyor belt; a blade for scraping off the recording material adhered to the conveyor belt; a supporting means for pressingly contacting the blade against the conveyor belt; and a collecting means for collecting the recording material, which is scraped off with the blade and falls freely, wherein pressure with the blade to the conveyor belt decreases from one end to the other end in the direction normal to the conveying direction of the recording medium in the conveying surface of the conveyor belt.
