PURPOSE: A hull block slit manufacturing method is provided to reduce the amount of materials used and welding works by the minimized size of a cover plate. CONSTITUTION: A hull block slit manufacturing method comprises following steps. A web plate and horizontal armatures(20a,20b) are assembled. A slot hole having the shape of a horizontal armature is formed in the web plate. The lower part of the web plate is chamfered. The top slot has a gap. The end tip of a flange is formed into the shape of a half circle.
