PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm the effect of image processing without increasing a memory capacity when recording an image that is suitable for image processing. SOLUTION: The digital camera is provided with an imaging section for generating an image by imaging a subject to be photographed, an image processing section for applying the image processing to the image that is generated by the imaging section, an image editing section for applying at least either of a trimming process and a size reduction process to the image before the image processing is applied, and a recording section which records the image after image processing and the image after processing by the image editing section or records only the image after image processing.
