<p>The board (1) has medium-density or high-density fiber plates (5, 6) and a low-density fiber plate (2) adhesively bonded together using formaldehyde free adhesive i.e. polymeric methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (PMDI) adhesive. A cover layer (8) is formed on narrow sides (7, 9, 10) of the board and covers a reinforcing strip, which is provided between a set of cover layers of flat sides (3, 4). The strip is inserted in a groove in one of the narrow sides. A veneer layer (11) or a film is provided on one of the medium-density or high-density fiber plates (5).</p> |
