<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure for a fuel injection valve capable of improving the airtightness at the mounting hole while tolerating displacement of the axis of a mounting hole and the axis of the fuel injection valve at the mounting of a fuel injection valve to an engine. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An engine 10 has a mounting hole 20 for mounting a fuel injection valve 30. A seat 24 is formed on the mounting hole 20. A level difference part 36 is formed in the fuel injection valve 30 facing the seat 24. A washer 40 is disposed between the seat 24 and the level difference part 36. The washer 40 has an upper contact part 42 contacted with the level difference part 36, and a lower contact part 43 contacted with the seat 24. An upper contact structure 50 is formed with the upper contact part 42 and the level difference part 36, and a lower contact structure 51 is formed with the lower contact part 43 and the seat 24. The upper contact structure 50 has an axis displacement absorbing structure comprising a spherical surface 36 and a conical surface 42.
