The invention relates to a device (2) for interfacing between a network and a host apparatus (1), comprising a first interface (7) for a communication via at least one network, and a second interface (6) for a communication with a host apparatus. The second interface is configured for communication with the host apparatus according to a standard protocol for managing a removable mass storage device. The interfacing device provides the host apparatus with a piece of content to be read having a selected visible size that is sufficiently high so that, once the reading of the piece of content has started, the host apparatus repeatedly generates and sends messages requesting the reading of the piece of content.
