MULTIHOP WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, BASE STATION, RELAY STATION, MOBILE STATION, AND TRANSMISSION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct a TDD or FDD frame structure so as to achieve relaying in response to the reception of a request by a certain node, the request being for supporting two independent links for two different nodes.

SOLUTION: The transmission method is used by the multihop wireless communication system including a base station, a relay station and a mobile station. The method transmits using a downlink transmission frame that has a first zone for transmitting radio signals from the base station to a relay station, a second zone for transmitting radio signals from the relay station to a mobile station, and a third zone provided between the first zone and the second zone for transmitting radio signals from the base station directly to a mobile station.
