The present invention relates to a plate assembly and a sliding assembly including the same for a slide phone. The plate assembly structure is improved to: enable smooth sliding of a sliding unit even in a slide phone that requires a long stroke; secure sufficient space for the installation of a flexible printed circuit board by minimizing movement in the direction orthogonal to the sliding direction of the sliding unit; and minimize abrasion and noise caused by friction. The plate assembly according to the invention comprises: a base plate; a 1st movable plate that is coupled to the base plate to reciprocate in one direction with respect to one end of the base plate; a 1st elastic member that connects the base plate to the 1st movable plate to bias the 1st movable plate elastically in the direction in which the 1st movable plate separates from the base plate; a 2nd movable plate that is arranged to face the end opposite to the one end of the base plate and is coupled to the base plate to enable reciprocation in the same direction as the linear direction of movement of the 1st movable plate with respect to the other end of the base plate; and a 2nd elastic member that connects the base plate to the 2nd movable plate to enable elastic bias of the 2nd movable plate in the direction in which the 2nd movable plate separates from the base plate.
