A recording medium (100) contains playlist information and a plurality of ESs. The playlist information includes a basic stream selection table and an extended stream selection table, and the basic stream selection table shows an ES to be allowed to be reproduced in a plan view reproduction mode. The extended stream selection table shows an ES to be allowed to be reproduced only in a stereoscopic vision reproduction mode. The stream entry in the extended stream selection table shows a packet identifier which a reproduction device should use for multiple separation when the corresponding stream number is set to a stream number register in the reproduction device in the case in which the reproduction device is set to the stereoscopic vision reproduction mode.
