MONITORING CAMERA AND METHOD FOR ATTACHING THE MONITORING CAMERA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring camera improved in working efficiency at installation and maintenance.

SOLUTION: The monitoring camera 1 includes; a base member 2 fixed on a camera installation surface; an attaching member 3 fixed on the base member 2; and a camera body 4 fixed on the attaching member 3. A housing space 13 for housing a cable connected to the camera body 4 is provided at the outer periphery part of the base member 2, and a cover member 5 for covering the housing space 13 is attached to the outside of the housing space 13. The cover member 5 can slide between a covering position to cover the cable housed in the housing space 13 and an exposing position to expose the cable housed in the housing space 13.
