摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature control device for a catalyst which can rapidly activate the catalyst while favorably maintaining characteristics of exhaust gas, by properly controlling the temperature of the exhaust gas according to an activated state of the catalyst. <P>SOLUTION: When the catalyst 10 is determined not to be in the activated state, based on an acquired temperature TCAT of the catalyst 10, the temperature control device 1 for the catalyst 10 sets a temperature higher than the temperature of the catalyst 10 by a predetermined temperature as a target exhaust gas temperature TEMCMD. Further, the temperature control device 1 controls combustion control parameters QINJ1 and TINJs 1 to 5 being at least one of an amount of recirculation of the exhaust gas by an EGR device 9, an amount of intake air drawn into an engine 3, a supply amount and a supply timing of fuel supplied into the engine 3 by fuel supply means 4 and 2, according to the set target exhaust gas temperature TEMCMD. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p>
