A bicycle drive includes pedals connected with a driving gear wheel, a driven gear wheel located on the same axle together with an overrunning clutch and a rear wheel. The pedals are fastened to rails with slanting teeth, the rails are installed on both sides of gear wheel and are in engagement therewith, and the gear wheel is rigidly connected to a primary shaft, which is able to rotate freely and to move along the axis of rotation, the displacements are transmitted through a drive shaft to the secondary shaft, to which two conical gear wheels are connected, which in alternation, depending on the shaft movement are engaged with the output conic gear wheel located on the axle of the rear wheel. |
