摘要 <p>The flexible composite laminate (9) forming covering strip of a secondary cryogenic sealing barrier for tank containing liquid methane, comprises a metal sheet intercalated between two tissues impregnated by a binder. The laminate is intended to be pasted on a junction of adjacent composite panels using a hot melt adhesive (208), which are each covered by another composite laminate (7) or underlying laminate. The hot melt adhesive crosslinkable by heat input is applied on tissues (9a) at a softening temperature to cover the external tissue of each underlying laminate. The flexible composite laminate (9) forming covering strip of a secondary cryogenic sealing barrier for tank containing liquid methane, comprises a metal sheet intercalated between two tissues impregnated by a binder. The laminate is intended to be pasted on a junction of adjacent composite panels using a hot melt adhesive (208), which are each covered by another composite laminate (7) or underlying laminate. The hot melt adhesive crosslinkable by heat input is applied on tissues (9a) at a softening temperature to cover the external tissue of each underlying laminate and a peripheral edge (115) of the flexible laminate. The adhesive is further applied on an external tissue (9b) of the flexible laminate in a peripheral area of the tissue extending the pre-pasted edge for optimizing the mechanical strength of the assembly. The adhesive comprises a first reagent, which is separated physically or chemically by a second reagent. The second reagent forms a matrix for the adhesive after heating the adhesive at a predetermined threshold temperature. The adhesive has a softening temperature of 55-65[deg] C and a crosslinking temperature of 100-150[deg] C, and is applied on the flexible laminate according to a weight of 50-800 g/m 2>using a scraper, roller or by powdering. A visualizing unit is arranged for characterizing colors or shades of predetermined colors, its degree of crosslinking and for exhibiting a starting of accidental crosslinking of the adhesive before carrying out the assembly or its insufficient crosslinking during heating. The visualizing unit comprises first and second reagents that are physically separated from each other, a compound present in the matrix or in capsules containing the first reagent and which is respectively able to react selectively with the first reagent or with the matrix immediately after the bursting of capsules providing a reaction product identifiable by its color in the adhesive. A compound or a dye is able to react selectively with the first reagent or matrix immediately after obtaining the threshold temperature during heating. A reaction product is identifiable by its color in the adhesive or by diffusing in the case of the dye. An independent claim is included for a process for assembling a secondary sealing barrier by gluing.</p>
