PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for manufacturing a crankshaft, capable of forming a plurality of holes at positions where side molding punches mutually intersect, within one stroke from the top dead center to the bottom dead center of a press ram. SOLUTION: After starting to move downward from the top dead center of the press ram, punches 111p to 114p as shown in Fig.1 move to the inner direction (point P) of a mold with cams 111c to 114c interlocked with the press ram. Formation of holes with the punches 111p to 114p is completed (point Q), when the stroke of the cams 111c to 114c becomes the maximum length. Then punches 115p to 118p move to the inner direction of a mold (point R) with cams 115c to 118c interlocked with the press ram, simultaneously when the cams 111c to 114c return to the initial position. At point S, the stroke of the cams 111c to 114c becomes the maximum length, thereby, completing the formation of the holes with the punches 115p to 118p. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
