<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a driver package in which only a functional module necessary for a user is packaged without packaging a function unnecessary for a user while enabling a providing side to provide the package easily. <P>SOLUTION: The server device that provides a driver package and comprises: a storage means for storing a core module and a functional module group, and a rule file for defining packaging conditions of each functional module; a reception means for receiving a request for a driver package; a determination means for determining a functional module to be included in the driver package based on the specified functional module and the rule file; a creation means for creating an installation scenario for indicating an installation method for each module based on the determined functional module and the rule file; and a generation means for generating the driver package including the core module, the determined functional module, and the created installation scenario. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
