<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-stage ladder which enables a worker to adjust the length of a ladder supporting portion without performing complicated work. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Characteristically, this multi-stage ladder includes: a ladder body 2 to which a plurality of ladder bodies including an upper ladder 4 arranged on an upper side and a lower ladder 3 arranged on a lower side are telescopically connected; and the ladder supporting portion 5 which is telescopically formed, the upper-end side of which is connected to the upper ladder 4, and the lower-end side of which can be attached to/detached from the lower ladder 3.
