The present invention relates to a system and a method for notifying the terminal of another party of an available call service. In particular, the present invention provides a system and a method where a terminal in a mobile telecommunication network providing SCUDIF (Service Change & Unrestricted Digital Information Fallback) services notifies the terminal of another party of a service change as only one of the call services becomes available. As such, a fallback method and a fallback processing system are provided for use in a call between terminals that support multiple calls and have a call service switching function, wherein call services of a particular type are not supported after call setup.
