<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more appropriately perform down-shift, when accelerator is turned off. <P>SOLUTION: When down-shift is performed in the middle of the motoring of an engine which has stopped fuel injection according to the tuning off of an accelerator by a first motor, the brake of a transmission is half-engaged, and made to stand by with a constant pressure, and the synchronous control of a second motor is started under feedback control using a relatively large value kp1 as a gain; and when a torque transmission capacity Tb2 of the brake estimated, at a timing before the number of revolutions Nm2 of the second motor becomes a post-shift target number of revolutions Nm2* is small, feedback control using the value kp1 as a gain is continued; and down-shift is completed (S200, S210), and when the torque transmission Tb2 is large; the feedback control is switched to the feedback control using the value kp2 smaller than the value kp1 as gain, and the down-shift is completed.
