PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dryer for an oxidative polymerization-curable coating extremely more excellent in curability than ever before; and to provide a coating and a cured coating film thereof. SOLUTION: A component essentially containing an aliphatic acid cobalt salt compound (a1) represented by cobalt naphthenate and an aliphatic acid strontium salt compound (a2) represented by strontium 2-ethylhexanoate is used as a dryer for an oxidative polymerization curable coating such as an alkyd resin.
