PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber cooler effectively suppressing heat generation from an end face of an optical fiber cable. SOLUTION: The cooler includes first fiber support part 13 and second fiber support part 14 for supporting both the ends of the optical fiber cable 12. A first window plate 3 is formed in a part of a coolant vessel 2 through which excited light enters and one end of the optical fiber cable 12 is crimped to the first window plate 3 by the first fiber support part 13 for supporting one end of the optical fiber cable 12. Likewise, a second window plate 4 is formed in a part of the coolant vessel 2 through which excited light goes out and the other end of the optical fiber cable 12 is crimped to the second window plate 4 by the second fiber support part 14 for supporting the other end of the optical fiber cable 12. One end and the other end of the optical fiber cable 12 are almost semi-spherical and the first fiber support part 13 and the second fiber support part 14 include crimp parts for respectively crimping one end and the other end of the optical fiber cable 12 onto the first window plate 3 and the second window plate 4.
