<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw tightening device capable of surely fastening a heel member. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The device includes a screwdriver supporting part vertically and movably supporting a screwdriver while rotating the screwdriver; a screw supporting part vertically and movably provided to the screwdriver; a stopping member to stop an action part moving down at a prescribed position; and a setting fixture holding and setting the heel member of a shoe at a prescribed position below the screwdriver. The screw supporting part comprises a tubular upper part, a chucking part downwardly branched from the upper part into multiple rod-like parts, having a diameter larger than that of the upper part, and the action part for contracting a diameter of a lower end opening of the chucking part of the screw supporting part when moved down and allowing the diameter to be in a normal expanded state when moved up, and the lower end opening of the chucking part grips and rotatably supports a head of a screw or a drill blade at a tip of the screwdriver when the lower end opening of the chucking part is contracted in diameter. The screw is supported by the screw supporting part and screwed into a heel part of a high-heeled shoe to fasten the heel member. Thus the heel member can be surely fastened.
