The present invention relates to a tuner to be used in a receiver, said receiver being adapted to receive a radio frequency signal including a combined data stream signal which is composed of a plurality of individual data streams, each individual data stream being associated to a different one of a plurality of channels, wherein said tuner is adapted to have a bandwidth which allows data streams of at least two channels to be passed through.
