PURPOSE: A neutron generator is provided to minimize the loss of a heavy hydrogen ion by blocking the hydrogen ions generated by the laser with a vacuum reaction container. CONSTITUTION: A penetration hole(11) and an insertion hole(12) are formed on the side and lower side of a vacuum reaction container(1). A heavy hydrogen compound is supplied to the vacuum reaction container through the insertion hole. A femtosecond laser device(3) irradiates laser to the heavy hydrogen compound inside the vacuum reaction container through the penetration hole. The vacuum reaction container is made of deuterated plastic materials. A coating layer is formed on the inner wall of the vacuum reaction container and is made of deuterated polyethylene materials.
