PURPOSE: A vacuum evaporation system for food waste using a heat pump is provided to reduce energy consumption by using a heat pump for vacuum-drying food waste. CONSTITUTION: A vacuum evaporation system for food waste using a heat pump comprises a container, a heat exchanging pipe, a food sludge inlet pipe, a food outlet pipe, a steam exhaust pipe, a steam liquefying chamber, and a vacuum pump. The heat exchanging pipe transfers heat to the outside or inside the container. The steam exhaust pipe transfers steam to the steam liquefying chamber. When food sludge is put into the container, the pipes, except a vacuum pump connecting pipe, are closed to drive the vacuum pump.
