PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily retrieve and extract subject image data on face expressions of the same level. SOLUTION: A face expression determination unit 23 detects a predetermined face expression of a subject person from a photographed subject image, compares the face expression of the subject person with face expression level data in a face expression level data storage unit 26 to determine the degree of the face expression, and generates a determination signal corresponding to the face expression level. A file storage instruction unit 30 generates an instruction signal for saving subject images by every face expression level in a predetermined folder provided in a memory 16a of an image recording unit 16 according to the determination signal.
