<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic control device for keeping the amount of a current to be supplied to a starter body or a relay element in a specified range even during feeding operation at an erroneous timing when restoring idling-stop control into run control, while less complicating controllability, and to provide an idling-stop control method. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An on-vehicle control system includes a starter switch for driving a starter relay SR to discontinue the feed to a starter ST which drives an internal combustion engine from the outside. The starter relay SR is driven in response to current supply via a feeding path combined on the way with a feeding path in which the starter switch is arranged, to control the starter ST. When restoring the internal combustion engine from an idling-stop condition into an idling-run condition, the starter relay SR is controlled to be driven to control the starter ST to be driven under the condition of fixing the feeding path in which the starter switch is arranged, into a shut-off condition only for a temporary period.
