PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reproduction device, imaging apparatus and program for efficiently detecting a misentry of management information or the like in a device which utilizes the management information for managing image information in accordance with attribute information imparted to the image information. SOLUTION: There are provided: a memory unit 20 which refers to management information (XML file) representing a corresponding relationship between identification information of image information and attribute information to store management display information representing whether or not a sorted display mode for displaying the image information on a display unit 18 is executed; and a control unit 15 which, after powering-on is instructed, uses the management display information to determine whether or not a user instructs display under the sorted display mode, analyses the management information in the case where the display under the sorted display mode is instructed for the first time after powering-on is instructed, and collates the corresponding relationship between identification information and attribute information in the management information with the corresponding relationship between the identification information identifying the image information and the attribute information.
