<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing structure of a turbocharger, effectively inhibiting self-excited vibration generating whirl sound or the like. <P>SOLUTION: In the bearing structure of the turbocharger, a turbine shaft 11 connecting a turbine wheel and a compressor wheel in a unified manner is rotatably supported by a turbocharger body 10 via bearing bushes. The bearing structure includes damping material 31 situated between the floating bush bearing 21 and the turbocharger body 10, and an annular inertia mass 32 surrounding the floating bush bearing 21 and held in a loose fit state by the damping material 31 so that it vibrates in an antiphase to the floating bush bearing 21 when the floating bush bearing 21 vibrates to a center housing 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
