PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus for favorably controlling the connecting state of a wireless LAN, while attaining low power consumption. SOLUTION: The electronic apparatus includes: a wireless communication control means for controlling communication connection to exchange data through the use of the wireless LAN; a power supply means having a chargeable battery; a charging state determining means for determining whether the battery of the power supply means is being charged or not; and a mode control means for shifting the connecting state of the wireless communication control means into a second mode different from a first mode when it is determined that the battery is being charged by the charging state determining means in a case where the connecting state of the wireless communication control means is in the first mode.
