PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that a conventional crusher for a granular material needs a lot of energy, has a possibility that an oil component is mixed, and that has problems of safety as well as large expense for the apparatus and the operation. SOLUTION: A crusher for the granular material includes a vacuum vessel V comprising a cylindrical barrel 1, a filter chamber 3 attachably/detachably connected to the upper opening of the barrel 1 and a cone part 2 attachably/detachably connected to the lower opening of the barrel 1. An exhaust pipe 6 and a branch pipe 16 branched from an inlet pipe with a back washing valve 17 interposed are hermetically connected to a part of the filter chamber 3. At the tip end of the cone part 2, an air or gas injection nozzle 15 is installed which is connected to the inlet pipe. A revolving shaft 21 is hermetically inserted into the vacuum vessel V from the top plate of the filter chamber 3 and, at the tip end of the revolving shaft 21, a plurality of rakes 23 are installed along the inner wall face of the cone part 2.
